5 /5 Belinda Johnson: I have known Alan Evans for over 30plus years as he made bespoke pieces of Jewelry for my grandmother well over 30years ago and also for my mother. Alan is a truly professional and exceptional jeweler who always is takes the time and effort to go above and beyond and to understand what you are after. Evans and Son Jewelers are the only jewelers I have trusted to reset some precious family rings and also to make bespoke aquamarine and diamond pendants for my young daughters. I travel an hour to see Alan to have have my jewelry readjusted and a necklace fixed when my son broke the clasp. I highly recommend Alan Evans and Son as he also made my engagement and wedding ring doing an absolutely amazing job at a very fair price- thank you Alan for making so many gorgeous pieces for myself and family and for your fair pricing and care at all times. 1 /5 Sidhart Datt: Unfortunately, a younger, bearded man had verbally assaulted me in front of other patrons. It’s not the kind of customer service I was expecting when I was pushed around for multiple days for a job that as he put it was ‘small’. This truly was disheartening as it was an engagement ring that I was looking forward to proposing with. I was looking forward to working with Alan but I wouldn’t recommend to anyone that is wanting a piece made that is of value to them.

1 /5 Amanda Farmer: Sometimes going to the best cost you more than you’re willing to pay. I took my deceased mother’s charms that had fallen off her bracelet. As well as my charms that had fallen off mine. Between our 2 bracelets there were 21 charms. 1 not real so was left off the job. I have 9 charms on my bracelet, after the job was completed. One charm in particular was so important to me and I know I will never get back. Though because of them having a photo of only 9 charms and the job charging me for 9 charms.. It’s not possible anyone’s done anything wrong on their behalf. And I must have taken them and misplaced them. The part that hurts me the most is, my Mum has always warned me to take a picture, no matter how good they look. Certainly will be doing so in the future!! Still deciding whether or not to go to A Current Affair

1 /5 Dianne levings: He destroyed a family heirloom of mine and charged me for it. Then gave it to his son to fix and made it worse. No apologies, no refund, chauvinistic attitudes by both.

1 /5 Kari: I cant say I recommend going here, I paid $220 for a resize and replate. The clerk also insisted that the opal wasnt meant to move at all in its setting, and called the last jeweller I took it to lazy for not fixing it. Picked up the ring today and found it oddly shaped, scratched, seemingly not replated and the opal is still loose. In fact the opal is now slightly wonky.
