1 /5 Awais Irfan Siddiqi: I had a very bad experience with Macquaire Credit card. I was using the card for last few years and it was cancelled without prior notification or phone call. The call centre service is pathetic; had for wait for almost half a day to get in touch and the issue is not resolved. I was sent the credit card statement immediately afterwards that I have to pay the outstanding payment as the card was cancelled. On my follow up call next day, I was told that my ticket is not assigned yet. I do not recommend this credit card to any person.

1 /5 Ben Karpin: Consistently the worst customer service experience in Australia is being with Macquarie credit cards. Online chat doesnt work, call centre doesnt answer calls and service representatives are unable to solve simple issues. I would rather get cancer than a Macquarie product ever again

1 /5 Gu Minyu: I have been calling customer service 5 TIMES just to update my new mobile number. However, it still not done yet because the call always suddenly hang up. I think it because they based in Manila! I could not login mobile and authenticator app. Definitely do not recommend Macquarie Bank!

1 /5 Mira: I it’s so frustrating being with Macquarie Bank . My 15 year old has lost his Macquarie ID, we called them and they spoke to my son , they told my son to to go through ID verification to give him his Macquarie ID. He did what he was asked and sent his documents over to them but it’s been over a week and they haven’t actioned it. All they need to do is help us get our MacquarieID . I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated and why does it have to take this long . And each time we call it’s just very disappointing because no one is able to help . A bunch of useless people pick up the phone and not able to help. I’ve been disappointed with this Bank so many times never ever Bank with this one save your time and bank somewhere else . Because God forbid if you forget your Macquarie ID, you have to go through hell to get it back . I’m at the point that we don’t know what else to do , my son needs to have access to his account but but he can’t. It’s absolutely frustrating and disappointing . This Bank literally holds your money and won’t let you have access to it. It’s very scary. You never bank with this one .

1 /5 Mark Butler: Macquarie Bank for retail customers investigated me for fraud for no reason at all. I was transfer under $50 to my colleagues after I paid for my birthday lunch and the fraud team called to ask many intrusive questions about what I was doing and who my colleagues were. They froze all access to my money and I had a lot of money there at the time. Through a complaint with AFCA, Macquarie decided to pay me to settle the issue. I closed my accounts and changed to Ubank.
