From the first phone call in early November 2023 through until settlement on 20th December 2023, my experience with Shipton and Associates was a seamless and supported one. I had found a commercial property that I was keen to purchase. Sharon answered my initial phone call and took the time to talk through the questions I had and looked over the contract in order to provide a relevant quote that reflected what was needed in my circumstance. Sharon was very efficient and emailed me very soon after our phone call. The email contained a detailed quote and explained the service I would be receiving. It helped me understand the costs and service to be provided in a way that was both extremely professional and clear and that there were no hidden costs. The responsiveness to my phone calls and emails was greatly appreciated. It is so important when you are making large purchases and timing is often critical to get things across the line. Sharon assisted in arranging for a Strata Report to be completed and Claire Richards reviewed the contract and scheduled a time to talk through it with me. Being a contract with an existing lease in place, there were a number of things to consider and her knowledge and the time she took to go through this was so valuable. I felt supported through the whole process and it made me feel confident that everything would be handled professionally and seamlessly, which it absolutely was! Claire managed the communication with the vendors solicitor and was able to adjust the settlement to a later date and then again bring it forward when everything was in place to proceed earlier than expected. Both Sharon and Claire were incredible to work with and kept me in the loop the whole way. I could not recommend them more highly and would work with them again for any future purchase. If you are looking for a professional, efficient, experienced team who are absolutely lovely to work with, I would always recommend Shipton and Associates. I appreciated the time that Claire Richards spent with me ensuring that I considered and understood everything. Im in good health; yet I also chose to complete my Advance Care Directive with my GP and then have this officially witnessed by Claire to be safely stored with Shipton and Associates. Completing this directive ensures that my health wishes are known and respected if I am ever unable to communicate for myself. My previous will was hastily written in a very basic store-bought will kit, that was inadequate. It failed to address so many really important details such as appointing an enduring power of attorney and an enduring guardian and also determining who would be my agreed substitute for both these roles if ever required.
