Jass Unprofessional conduct of staff and Ms Mathot resulted in substantial overcharge on capital gains tax on the sale off my property (around 100k more). In regards to the POA that was in my possession Ms Mathot contacted the other party who resides on the other continent. The POA was revoked. After 25 years I am now homeless. Ms Mathot actions put me in hospital resulting in huge distress to my disabled son. This is written to help other people to avoid engagement with these middle-aged women at Douglas Paisley and Emery. I think that Ms Mathot is unreliable, not to be trusted. Definitely not caring.

Andrea After contacting them via email to get a quote, I was asked to deposit $5,000 just to start the case. The final quote was four times more than all the other quotes Ive received from other lawyers. On the top of that, I was asked to pay for the quote, never seen anyone charging for a quote. Not recommended.
