JC 24 The Wilkes in Artarmon is a true local gem. From the moment you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere and warm, attentive staff make you feel right at home. The food is consistently excellent — dishes like the breakfast burger, granola, or hash benedict are both generous and beautifully presented. The coffee is top‐notch, too, making it perfect for a relaxed morning or brunch. Add in a handy location (just by Artarmon Station), great vibe and fair prices, and you’ve got a café worth returning to again and again. Highly recommended!

Eugene Chan Great coffee spot! I’ve been coming here for the past 5–6 years, and it’s consistently been a fantastic experience. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to cater to your needs. If you have food allergies, they’re incredibly helpful and transparent about the ingredients they use in their dishes. Their freshly roasted and ground coffee beans are a standout, and their food selection is just as impressive — from freshly made sushi rolls and bento boxes to comforting hot foods like fried chicken and hot chips. There’s truly something for everyone. The list could go on, but it’s definitely worth stopping by to explore their wide range of delicious options. Highly recommend!

aog Holy Basil Thai in Artarmon absolutely deserves five stars. I’ve noticed a few recent one-star reviews complaining about portions and price, and honestly that feels really unfair. With rising costs everywhere, small local businesses can’t survive without modest price increases, and even with that, Holy Basil is still one of the best-value Thai takeaways around for the quality you get. The food is consistently fresh, full of flavour and clearly cooked with care. Portions are perfectly reasonable, and compared to other Thai places nearby, it’s still cheaper for how good it is. On top of that, the staff are some of the nicest people you’ll meet. They always greet you with a smile and are genuinely friendly, making you feel welcome every time you walk in. This place has been a local favourite for a reason. If you want genuinely good Thai food at a fair price with lovely service, Holy Basil Thai is the place to go.

Pradeep One of the cutest hidden gem in sydney. Been to many Japanese restaurants, this place has whole different vibe. Menu is so curated and satisfies all sort of taste buds. My go-to pickup would be their bento box which comes with salad and next level sashimi. Their version of tempura is unique which i guess because of the quality in oil they use. Spicy honey chicken is one such good recommendation for spicy lovers.

L C The Rice Den never fails to deliver - I come here for 1:1 catch ups, big group lunches / dinner, with both friends and family. When I’m lazy their takeaway and catering options are also soo good. All menu options are fab - plus they have preorder special dishes too!

Harvinder Singh I’ve eaten at many Thai restaurants, but Little Thai Place really stands out. The dishes are packed with flavour, the presentation is great, and everything tastes freshly made. Staff are friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere feels cosy and welcoming. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeaway, it’s always a great experience!
