5 /5 Jenny Wei: It only took them 5 years to update their menu but thank goodness they did! I’ve eaten here three times since and absolutely love it. (Even had a girls lunch during the weekday and it was lovely). Love the new 2025 Bistro Mosman. I’ll be back!
The new menu is a knockout: started with duck liver parfait (the sweetness of the marmalade is a clever balance!) followed by the fresh tuna crudo. I actually paired the goat meat maffaldine with the stracciatella tomatoes and it was amazing. The freshness of the tomatoes and the burrata was just phenomenal. The pasta was hearty, tender, and so full of flavors.
For dessert, I forgot to take a photo (too busy enjoying it!) but the lemon tart was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The fine balance of the lemon tang with the crème fraîche was the perfect way to finish the meal. They actually alternate the tart flavor each week. I tried the chocolate tart for lunch one time and it was equally amazing.
And of course, the cocktails are amazing as always, consistent, creative, and a great complement to the food!
