3 /5 Jayden lim: Wanted to give an honest take on my first visit to Grill’d. I came in for lunch and dined in since it was quiet—no one else was there. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken burger ($15.90), added fries for $5, and got an extra sauce tub for $1.50. For what you get, I did feel the fries were overpriced—especially since the sauce alone was nearly a third of the price of the fries. As for the burger, I’d seen reviews mentioning stale buns, and I did experience something similar. I chose the panini bun, which was quite tough and chewy—might stick with the standard bun next time. On the upside, the burger was sauced nicely, and the chicken patty was fried and cooked well. The patty tasted somewhere between processed and natural—not bad, but not amazing either. Fries came out hot and crispy for the most part, though I did find a couple of stale, cold pieces that seemed like they were from an older batch. Service was decent—the staff checked in on how the meal was going, which I appreciated. All in all, it was just okay. I can understand why people who order delivery might be disappointed if the food arrives cold or stale. If you’re curious, maybe try dining in instead—it might be a better experience.

5 /5 Chloe Larsen: I went to Grill’d with my husband and overall we had a good experience. The burgers were tasty and fresh, and the chips were really nice too. The staff were friendly and served us quickly. That said, the place definitely feels more like a fast food spot than a restaurant, so it’s not the kind of place for a long dinner. Still, for a casual meal it was great, and we’d happily come back.

2 /5 Irene S: This place used to be very good, the last few months I keep on giving it another try and the burger patty is constantly burnt at every order. And when I say burnt I mean fully crispy tasting like charcoal. It is now the fourth time, definitely not going to try for a fifth. Very disappointed as it is not that hard to cook properly a burger patty. Clear to say the staff does not give a crap of the quality of food they are making for the costumers.

1 /5 John G: Hadn’t been here in a while and that’s definitely a good thing because this was as bad as it gets. Patty completely dry and overcooked - so much mustard put on it’s all you could taste, unlike the sauce which there was none. Chips were so dry and overcooked that the potato within had almost evaporated. I’d booked ahead with the app - it tells you to get there for an eta which doesn’t have any bearing on the orders at the place so I had to wait 15mins after ordering ahead. Terrible system. The poor 16 yr olds in there cooking are doing their best but they clearly havent been trained properly. At least it was so bad it means I’ll never make the mistake of going again. Suggest avoiding unless your own kitchen and every other takeaway place has burnt down. Even then prob best to go hungry.
