5 /5 Reuben: Amazing authentic Austrian/German restaurant. A real stand out with consistently excellent food over many years. I wish there were more places like this, but i guess thats what makes them so special! The dumplings special is an absolute must for entree, it is simply perfection. For main had the Vienna snitzel which is huge and so good with a side of potato and endive salad, trust me get a mix of both. To finish had the creme brûlée that was really good. The only slightest issue is it does get a bit loud in there but also adds to the atmosphere of such a busy and bustling restaurant. My favourite German/Austrian restaurant in Sydney and in my opinion the best!

2 /5 Tsui Brandon: Nice building and restaurant, but the food was very normal with nothing that tasted exceptionally good. The music is pretty loud and not conducive for having a conversation. Came with friends that insisted the restaurant used to be better but it seems management was changed recently. Overall for the fairly high price i dont think I would consider making the drive out for this place as it is now.

2 /5 Helen Ward: We have been going to Kaiser Stubn for many years for many special occasions (birthdays Father’s Day etc). We have German heritage and have always loved the food here (especially goulash with dumplings and the soups) After dining for lunch we are sad and disappointed that it has changed so much. We didn’t realise that the old owner had sold and it was under new ownership until calling to book on the old mobile number which belongs to the previous owner. The current contact landline doesn’t work. Decided to give it a go (we had not read any of these reviews prior to going!) knowing new management. The menu is very different to the previous menu and it was very disappointing that none of our favourite dishes (the goulash the cabbage rolls or the dumplings and späzle) were not available on the menu. There was a feeling of general chaos and a lack of understanding as to what their side orders were for the menu. The three wait staff were doing their best and were very friendly. Food ok but not great. Potato salad had way too much paprika and the schnitzels were average. My husband had the knuckle with the wurst and sauerkraut he said was quite nice. We were overcharged at the end for späzle which we had wanted but they hadn’t had available but they altered the bill accordingly. Such a shame. I am not sure we’ll be back anytime soon.

5 /5 Jesse Snowden: Absolutely outstanding experience at Kaiza Stubn Restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and authentic. The food was next-level — rich flavours, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care and passion. Every dish we tried was fresh, generous, and full of character. The service was just as impressive: friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely proud of what they serve. You can tell this place is run by people who love what they do. If you’re looking for incredible food, a relaxed vibe, and a place you’ll want to come back to again and again, Kaiza Stubn is a must. Easily one of the best dining experiences around. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Václav Švec: Me and my partner accidently came across this hidden gem after a long day bushwalking. Decided to have a quick cold beer. The bottled Weissbier was served properly, Bitburger from the tap was nice and crips. Decided to give some of the meals a go as well. It was a busy Sun afternoon, so we waited a little bit on our Bretzels and a mixed Bratwurst plate, but it was worth the wait. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the waiter - Patrick was very welcoming and I really felt like home. If you want to experience tasty german meals and beer that actually tastes like beer (sorry Australia), this is the place. We will definitely come back.
