Selem Russell (Russ) Shoal Bay Country Club at Shoal Bay was really good. We had a great table right next to the window which looked out over the ocean to the Horizon. We had great food and I had salmon. My sister had a Moroccan salad which had great ingredients and we both like our meals a lot. If youre at Shoal Bay, this is definitely a place to visit and get lunch. Service was really good. Food was really good. Location was really good. Five stars ⭐

Cathy Mckay Very generous portions of food, chef was very friendly and generous. Im not used to salted fish! Lots of outdoor space to eat and a childrens play area as well. Liked that they had toilets accessible from outside dining area. Makes it easier for parents.

Natalie Y My husband and I came to have an impromptu lunch today and we were blown away by everything. Couldn’t fault one single thing the food was delicious (three entrees, two mains) - the staff were lovely and made us feel so special - loved the vibe of the restaurant, the lighting, the furniture. Honestly excellent. We will be back to explore more of the menu!

Sarah Roberts Delicious food, for either lunch or dinner. Lots of great options and proportions are very generous. Great views over the golf course. Look out for the specials they changed daily and always have great options. Good amount of gluten free options as well. Can book online for a table for main dining area or sit out on the club.

Kelp Restaurant Ballina - NSW
Scott Underwood Excellent venue. The ambience as lovely, the staff excellent and the food amazing. We were looked after by a new employee (originally from France) on her fist shift, and she delivered outstanding service, and was attentive ensuring we were looked after when we needed something. The food is of excellent quality, presentation is outstanding and the flavours of each dish a beautiful taste experience. I wish I hadnt left it so long to try Kelp, it is an excellent venue. I will be going back, and recommend as a great dining experience in Ballina.
