Toni Henning Weve often gotten take aways from Calzones, but last night we decided to dine in. It was lovely. We sat upstairs. There is a low beam up there - mind your head! But it has a cute and cozy ambience. Calzones doesnt have a liquor licence, but we were allowed to order wine from the restaurant next door. Our server told us that we can take our own wine next time; they dont charge a corkage fee. The pizza are yummy - generous toppings on a thin crust. Im going to try their pasta next.

Mona Karnib I stopped by Nicky B’s Sandwich Bar for a coffee and was really impressed! The gentleman who served me was so friendly and welcoming — you can tell he genuinely cares about great service. The coffee was absolutely perfect, and his positive attitude made my morning. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to!

I went for the brisket, and it was executed perfectly it was tender, rendered down just right and that dark jus was incredibly rich. The potatoes were proper crispy wedges, not that soggy stuff you get elsewhere. ​I also managed to steal a bite of the battered hake, and I almost regretted not ordering it myself. The batter was light and shattered when you bit into it no grease, just fresh fish. Service was sharp and on the ball. If you appreciate food cooked with actual skill, this is the spot.

Aleks Bogicevic We made the trip from Southwest Sydney to My Fathers Yeeros in Ramsgate, and it was worth every kilometer. Its clear that owners John and Olympia are carrying on the legendary legacy of the original Marrickville shop. ​Even at full capacity on a Saturday, the service was exceptional. We ordered three mixed meat platters and a large gyros—the portions were massive, but the quality was the real standout. The meat is clearly high-grade and prepared in-house; it was incredibly flavorful without being greasy at all. Their famous hand-cut chips are a must-try—you can really taste the difference when theyre fresh and not from a freezer bag. ​The hospitable atmosphere created by the owners makes you feel like family. Whether youre a local or coming from across Sydney, this is the gold standard for Greek food. We’ll definitely be back!

Anthony Carman This Mexican food stand has only been going for a couple of weeks operating out of the Ramsgate Markets held each Saturday. We ordered three lots of tacos so we could try the different options - birria (16 hour slow cooked beef), tinga de pollo (slow cooked chicken) and Nopales (Cactus, veggie option). They were all so good, but the winner was the tinga de pollo, just edging the birria. The team at the stall were super friendly so give them a visit.

The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a casual night out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel really welcome. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys authentic, tasty Thai food!

Michael Kalas This is the best fish and chips I’ve ever had.. They have a great selection too of fresh grilled seafood and battered fried seafood.. The service is always great and the food is reasonably priced!
