1 /5 Sylvia Duong: Upon booking my appointment, I was asked if I would like to add a hair treatment in addition to my haircut. I specifically requested a toner, wash and blow dry and a cut clearly indicating that I did not wish to include a treatment. After the toner was applied, I was informed it would only take a few minutes; however, I ended up waiting at the basin for nearly an hour while the stylist attended to a walk-in client.
Furthermore, a different staff member proceeded to wash my hair and, contrary to my earlier request, applied a treatment that I had explicitly declined. This left my scalp feeling irritated due to an excess of product that was not properly washed off. Following this, I was seated for a brushing session, during which it became apparent that the stylist lacked the necessary experience with women’s hair. I had to request to brush my hair myself due to excessive pulling and discomfort.
Unfortunately, due to the prolonged wait and lack of proper service, I had to leave without receiving a blow dry or a haircut. Moreover, I was charged $45 for the services rendered, yet upon reviewing the pricing on your app, I noticed that the toner was listed at $25 and the wash at $10, leading to an unexplained $10 charge.
After returning home, I felt compelled to wash my hair again due to the residue left by the products. Additionally, I experienced discomfort in the back of my neck from the extended time spent at the basin.
Overall, I was left feeling shocked and disappointed by the entire experience, which did not meet the standards I anticipated from your salon.
