1 /5 Amy Glover: Firstly the interior design is beautiful! I follow Bixies social media and love the beautiful hair they create. However my experience was not great unfortunately. I wanted to love my hair and the experience at Bixie but I really didnt. I paid $750 which would be fine if I had a better result. I was going from dark to lighter. I know its a process and happy with the journey. I felt as though she put the foils in pretty quick and didnt check them much to see how they were lifting, considering I was quite dark going lighter. When she noticed they not lifting as well at the top she loudly Accused me of using permanent hair dye at the basin in front of all the other clients and staff as though im liar when asked what I used, I was so embarrassed I didnt know what to say.. after seeing they werent as lifted near the top she never attempted to add more lighter to get an even result. I The mids/ top of my hair is was a diffent colour to the ends, its more orange , and its really stripey My partner called it zebra stripes .. I feel like this was a short cut foiling technique that didnt blend the top half of my hair leaving it stripey and orange as it wasnt lifted enough .. I wish they would have paid more attention to try get a better result than this. I felt a bit invisible.. also my hair cut was really choppy and not blended around my face . Im disappointed to have to write this review. But embarrassing with how my hair looks and cant wait to fix it

She took the time to listen to my needs and gave expert recommendations for my “Copper Cowgirl”transformation. Stella did an amazing job! The salon was welcoming, and Stella made me feel at ease throughout the process. I’m thrilled with my new look and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Alexandra: Jessie was incredibly professional and understanding, and I would definitely go to see her again! She understood exactly what I was going for, and Im so happy with the results. She was also very kind and accommodating, I immediately felt comfortable and that my hair was in good hands. Ive never walked out of a salon feeling so good in my colour!

5 /5 Gina: Shanae did an INCREDIBLE job on my hair. She matched it perfectly to my inspo photo. Couldn’t recommend her and the Bixie girls enough. First time at this hairdresser and won’t be my last, I’m so happy with how my hair turned out and the overall experience. Thanks again Shanae! :)

Everyone from Yvette, the salon manager, to the senior colourist Evy and senior cutter and stylist Shane were outstanding not only in their service but also in understanding my needs and making sure that they listened with the intention to deliver my needs. I would recommend Bixie Colour to anyone looking for a professional and educated team of amazing and talented people who love what they do, and it clearly shows! Thank you for the best experience Ive ever had in over 30 years! It was worth the hours drive and every single cent!
