Bonna Point Reserve - Kurnell (NSW)

5 /5 Priscilla: Park, beach and bushwalks in one. You can see the climbing frames long before you get to this park! My 10 year old loved it and so did my 4 year old. I have to say, the ladder access to one slide was a bit concerning as it was so high. A lot of parents must have felt the same as they were climbing the ladder behind their younger kids. And if your kids dont like climbing or heights they may find it frustrating as they wont be able to access the slides. The park also had * 2 decent flying foxes * 4 swings, all facing in to each other * Cubby house for younger kids * Musical pipes the kids can bang * heaps of open space to kick a ball around * Large toilet block The best part was the mini skate park. My son and daughter both enjoyed riding their bikes through it. Be prepared and come with your own shade and picnic blanket as there are only a few covered tables and they fill up fast. You can find trees to sit under but they arent very close to the playground itself. Across the road youll find the beach with no waves and lots of sand and shells for the kids. You can walk along the path adjacent to the beach and take it all the way into the National Park. Along the way youll come across information about the first fleet arrival at Botany Bay. If youre still up for exploring there is a short easy walk called the Yarra Trail, close to the national Park entrance. All in all, it was a wonderful day, broken up with lots of different activities.

5 /5 Alice Hacker: Amazing playground! The main climbing frame is probably best suited to kids aged 5+ but there are also some things for younger kids to play on e.g. swings, slides etc. along with lots of green space and a double flying fox. There’s even a mini skate park area there which is cool!
