Box Head Lookout - (NSW)

5 /5 James Cameron: A fairly easy walk from the parking area out to the end of the headland. Views of the Hawksbury River, Broken Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The trail is not well marked but was easy to follow where others had been before. Well worth the 60-90 minutes return trip at an easy pace.

5 /5 Stanley R a: Box Head in Bouddi National Park offers stunning panoramic views of Broken Bay, Lion Island and over to Barrenjoey Lighthouse on the Northern Beaches. The walk to Box Head is easy and enjoyable, passing through beautiful bushland and along the beach. If youre driving, please note that youll need a 4WD to get to the national park gates. Its a great place to escape the crowds and enjoy some peace and quiet.

5 /5 Daithí Kilcourse: This is a beautiful walk for all levels. There are a few areas along the way that are a little tricky. The view is amazing along the way and it is unbelievable when you get to the head. There are so many little lookouts along the path to the head. Take them in all in as you hike along. A nice easy walk if you take your time. Loved it.

5 /5 Ang B: Wow. Stunning!! So worth it. We parked before the road turned to dust... (4WD only...or get beached like we did on the first "bump" in the road!!.. . Could have been embarrassing if we couldnt get unstuck!) Walked right to the end till the sign said... No more track! Was so lucky to see a seal!! Just playing off the end of Box Head. The whole Park is full of beautiful birds, flowers and butterflies. We took a detour to Tallow Beach. What a hill!! Chatted with the campers and went to the bush potty...(wasnt expecting one in the middle of nowhere!!). Will definitely bring our visitors here. The views are to die for.
