What Clients Are Saying Cape Byron Lighthouse (GG)
5 /5 Hifdzannudin Abd Hair: Beautiful landmark. Worth the hassle just to come here. You can either paid for the parking nearby the lighthouse or you can further down for free. Just need to walk 10-15 min.
You can walk from here to lookout point and also to the beach. Locals suggested to me to walk from the lighthouse to the beach. It was amazing experience.
5 /5 Patricia Dear: The drive up to the lighthouse is recommended unless you have a good level of fitness. Some parking available for a fee. Nice kiosk for food and drink. Amazingly preserved lighthouse, with an accompanying museum related to its history. Knowledgeable volunteer tour guides. Stunning 360degree views from the top of the lighthouse.
5 /5 Jamtsho Dorji: Once it drew ships safely to the bay, Now it draws people’s admiration in its breathtaking getaways. Beautiful ocean view with historic lighthouse tour inside. Trails leading down to the rocky shore good for health and nature bonding. The popping lil mountains at the base of the trails do add up beautiful scenes as waves gushes against them.
No idea on sighting Whales or sharks as I am not fascinated by it, so I hardly tried to check for it.
Panoramic view of town and Ocean adds up to refreshing sight.
Limited parking space near the lighthouse but there is ample parking space lil down the pay park line.
Eatery in the vicinity.
5 /5 Krust Ipholous: Awesome walk from town to the lighthouse, spectacular views, the weather was perfect, finding a park can be a challenge if you drive. Great 2 hrs exercise. Definitely go back.
5 /5 Andrew Wong: The long trek up makes for a great cardio workout ... for drivers, it is an exercise in right foot modulation and patience in finding a parking lot. But whichever, the reward of the fantastic views is well worth it. I think on a clear day, can almost see Gold Coast from here.
Ellie Owen We had a lovely early start to the day with Wander Byron! Millsy the tour guide was wonderful! Very knowledgeable & made our experience so great! The views were stunning. 100% recommend booking with Wander Byron for this gorgeous sunrise experience.
G G This is the very best beach in New South Wales. Part of the Seven Mile Beach, there is so much space that you can feel alone, even on a most busy day when all of the parking space is taken. Curious crabs occupy the beach. Give them time to show themselves. Also, the ocean is amazing. The current and the waves are strong, so be cautious how in the water you want to venture. People do surf here. No life-saving on the beach
Elaine van de Loo Amazing lookout, very serene and beautiful. It is $4 entree fee for the park and is a bit touristy but still worth it.
There is a cafe at the start, we didnt eat here so I cant tell you if it is any good.
Paolo Bevilacqua Great, modern sports facility. Excellent synthetic soccer pitch with grandstand and change rooms. Plenty of parking and a kids playground too.
