5 /5 Eric Choi: Kids been going to this place for haircut since young. Has always been going to Ange and our kids loved her. It does get busy on the weekends which is expected. We don’t understand why is there so many bad comments with this place. We have no issues whatsoever.

5 /5 Bashir Darjani: This was the first hairdresser that made my son comfortable enough to sit on his own rather than in my lap. Since the first occasion he has only been comfortable with haircuts here. Both hairdressers have eased his nerves and helped him feel relaxed in order to allow for a successful experience. Highly recommend haircuts from here for children.

1 /5 Angelica N.: (LONG OVERDUE REVIEW) We are often in Top Ryde and would always pass by this place so we went here January this year to have my daughter’s first hair cut before we travel overseas. If we’ve only seen the reviews prior to our appointment, we never should’ve gone! We had an extremely bad experience here and my poor daughter left traumatised! The staff who did my daughter’s hair cut isn’t gentle with kids. She would force her head in a certain direction even though my daughter clearly isn’t comfortable. Worst of all, the way she points the scissors while doing her fringes (while the child is crying and constantly moving her head) is so scary we had to stop it. Parents should definitely think twice before going here for their children’s hair cut!

My son cried, as many young kids do, and I did everything I could to help—sat in the chair, held him calmly. What hurt most wasn’t the struggle—it was being overcharged without warning. No prices were clearly posted, and nothing was explained upfront. The stylist showed zero sympathy, just cold indifference and an unexplained fee that felt completely unfair. This place lacks transparency and basic compassion. I left feeling taken advantage of. Parents, be warned.

2 /5 Fabiana Nascimento: This afternoon I went to Cool Kids Cuts with my three-month-old baby to get his first haircut. I was quite disappointed with the service I received there. The person who cut his hair was not interested in providing quality work. My sons hair had missed patches of longer hair and a visibly crooked neckline when the cut was finished. In conclusion, a thirty-dollar service done in 5 minutes with no quality. My baby didnt cry and was very calm so there was no need to rush the haircut. We won’t be going back again after this experience.
