Whether it’s your face shape, skin tone, or hair type, a good salon should offer a reality check before you end up disappointed and out of pocket. I’m always surprised by people who expect to look like the photo they brought in. The truth is, that celebrity/person had their style tailored to them—you deserve the same.
Cov is that kind of salon. The team is friendly, chatty, and most importantly, honest. You’ll walk out with a style that suits you, not someone else.
When I visited, one of the salon directors (Yoav?) made a point to speak with every client (there were about eight of us), oversaw all colour applications, and actively coached staff throughout the time I was there. His genuine care and involvement didn’t go unnoticed.
This isn’t my regular salon—I’ve been traveling interstate and couldn’t get to my usual stylist—but Cov had availability, an easy online booking platform, and it fit into my schedule. I asked for a root touch-up with a demi tint, matched as closely as possible to my regular colour, and that’s exactly what I got.
The consultation was detailed, collaborative, and the blow-dry was fantastic. I’d happily return.
