Lyrebird Gully circuit - NSW

My Nguyen We did one way starting from Mt Ku Ringgai Station and walked to Berowra Station. It’s a nice trail. It’s steep up at the end. The view is at Junction Rock.

Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden - NSW

Elisabeth Lindsey Perfect place for events and gatherings and hikes. The welcome center has cute botanical gifts for sale and a native plants nursery out back. Out front they have labelled plants in water showing you whats in bloom for the season. Lots of unique landscapes to explore and so much space for kids and hikes. The public restroom by the pavilion was tiled with hand painted native plants and I loved the details. (:

Topham walking track - NSW

Harshana Eranga Martin Great walk about 2kms each way! Recommend to go to towards the cliff if you’re able to access it safely! Need to go through the bush for about 50m to get there. But well worth the walk.

Empress Falls - NSW

james cole Fantastic waterfalls with small swimming spot directly under the waterfall, reminded me of a shampoo advertisement!! Very steep hike down the valley with several wooden ladders and stairs, and obviously it seemed steeper going back up! If you’re not fit don’t attempt it.

Sphinx Memorial to Bobbin Head loop track - NSW

Ernie Shepherd To save on the park entry fee, I parked outside the national park, which worked out perfectly. I tackled the loop in an anti-clockwise direction, and I have to say, it was the best decision! The most picturesque part of the walk runs along the river, with stunning views of Cowan Creek. The combination of gorgeous trees and natural shade made it an absolute treat. I took a 30-minute break at Bobbin Head to sip some water and use the facilities, which was a great midway point. The return leg was much simpler—a straight path with not much scenery—but it made for an easy way to finish the walk. Overall, the track was relatively easy, and the whole experience, including the break, took me just under three hours. If you’re looking for a walk that’s accessible and not too challenging, with some truly stunning views along the way, this one’s worth checking out!

Flat Rock Baseball Diamond - NSW

Ryan Kucharski Best baseball diamond in Sydney! Home and visitor proper dugouts, fence all around, large backstop, heaps of parking. Doesn’t drain the fastest, so hopefully not much rain before the games.

Naremburn Park - NSW

Alex Ho Nice dog friendly local park with two big fields, two basketball courts and a playground! There are complimentary poo bags and also has a regular dog community which usually convene around 4-5pm on weekdays. Unfortunately, there is no available schedule that I can check for sports times and there isnt really any dedicated space for dogs during sports games.

Talus Street Reserve - NSW

congus bongus Short walk between Naremburn park and st Leonard’s station. The station end is quite tucked away, being behind several car parks and a back street. Easy to run into wildlife like brushturkeys or kookaburras.
