GLEBE BEAUTY SHURA - Glebe (NSW)

2 /5 Jiamy Yu: I have been going to Shura at Glebe for 2+ years and have always had a good experience. The ladies being able to replicate exactly what I wanted for nail design. Today I came back for lashlift and tint, and nail art and was quite disappointed with the service and the result. Perhaps this is just lIke what everyone else has been saying about staff changes because I was paired with their new hire. The lashlift result turned out fine, however in the process of removing the strips it was quite painful. Beecause my eyes are closed for the entire session, I wish she can give me gentle headups like: im going to turn on the light now. Instead of just turning on the light abruptly. And because it is Winter now the room can get quite cold, I wish a blanket was offered in the beginning rather than the customer having to ask half way. For the nail, the result turned out to be quite amateur and disappointing even though I did mention a few times about my pinky nail showing bubbles. She tried to fix it once and it got bubbled up again so in the end I think she just gave up. I still love the salon but I would love to be able to book with a nail tech of my choice next time, so until then I probably wont be back anytime soon...

2 /5 Alice Passon: I was impressed when I first visited, so I came back, but today I was disappointed because she cut my skin so deeply. I was bleeding. However, I hope that the staff will be more attentive and cautious. I still like the shops service and hope it does not happen to me again.

3 /5 Megha Menon: Although my previous experiences with Shura have been great. My most recent one was a bit disappointing. I had asked for a specific ombré biab finish. I do think they tried their best. However, I could sense towards the end they just wanted to finish it off in a hurry. The design at the end looked messy and completely different on both hands. I assume due to being in hurry to finish it off, they didn’t notice all the access nail polish on my fingertips. I had to request the excess nail polish to be removed from my fingers. I rather wish they told me they couldn’t do the design than do a bad job.

5 /5 Ally Cureton: I’ve had my nails done at Beauty Shura since 2020 and wouldn’t go anywhere else! The ladies are welcoming, friendly and always do an amazing job. I’ve had nail art, bridal nails, gel and BIAB done, and they’ve been perfect every single time. My nails have always been thin and weak, but they’ve noticeably improved since coming to Beauty Shura. A very well deserved 10/10!
