Sounded by the river - dogs have access to all the fun, large play area and a dip in the water if need be! Warning: very sandy/muddy by the river so be prepared for a long detailed bath if your dog is a swimmer!

4 /5 Mary Drake: I love this dog park. It runs from street to street and is bounded by Queenscliff Lagoon and the back fences of a row of houses. You can have your dog off leash wherever you think is safe for your dog. I leak mine about 20m from each very busy road. There is a paved footpath thats appropriate for all mobility levels. There are toilets and a kiosk at the beach/surf club area. There is limited 4P parking on the western (Pittwater Rd) and a bit more just across the bridge. Its also very limited due to popularity at the Eastern (beach) end. Its well treed so has plenty of shaded and sunny spaces plus open spaces for running, chasing balls etc. There is a good fun set and play areas at each end. Its not that big but if combined with on leash walking along the beach or across Pittwater Rd to some of the parks there it is excellent. You could even walk up to Graham Reserve (another very good off leash park) and combine the two. There are bins and the grass is well kept. If your dog is a digger there are perfect sandy spots where they cant do damage but can still have fun.
