Governor Phillip Lookout - NSW

DaithĂ Kilcourse There is a magnificent view of the city from this lookout. You can get a view through the trees of some of the northern beaches. If you go for a walk in all directions you can get some great views. There is plenty of parking in the park next to the lookout or just off Warringah road. It is a short walk from Warringah road to the lookout. Nice and relaxing here.

Bald Hill lookout Hill End - NSW

Birinder Sharma **Bald Hill Lookout – Hill End, Sydney, Australia** Bald Hill Lookout is a stunning vantage point located near the historic gold mining town of **Hill End** in New South Wales, Australia—not far from Sydney. It offers visitors panoramic views of the rugged countryside, dramatic escarpments, and the vast Turon Valley below. Known for its raw natural beauty, Bald Hill is a hidden gem that provides an authentic taste of Australia’s landscape, away from the bustling city life. Reaching the lookout involves a short drive from the Hill End village, followed by a brief walk, making it easily accessible for most visitors. The view from the top is truly breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset when the skies light up with warm hues, casting a golden glow over the valleys and distant mountains. The lookout is part of the **Hill End Historic Site**, which is managed by the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. This area is steeped in history, as Hill End was a thriving gold rush town in the 1800s. Bald Hill serves not only as a scenic spot but also as a reminder of the area’s rich past, where miners once toiled amidst these hills in search of fortune. Photography enthusiasts often visit Bald Hill for its expansive vistas and ever-changing light. It’s also a peaceful spot for reflection, picnicking, or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of rural Australia. Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, or adventure seeker, Bald Hill Lookout at Hill End is a must-visit destination. Garigal National Park - NSW

DaithĂ Kilcourse A very nice park with a lot of access points to lookouts, bike trails and hikes. There seems to be a lot of people on bikes here and with a lot of narrow hiking tracks it can be dangerous. Be aware of the bikes and they normally shout out on approach. Some tough and easy trails to do here. Amazing lookouts located in the park too. Some give you a view of the city. We will be back again.
