Annabelle Begg After going here for years I am sad to say I don’t anymore. After going on a Saturday and getting great treatment, I went to pay and the nail lady said $80 and then went to charge me $90. I was confused and she said it was due to the long weekend surcharge. I then said to them ‘your sign only says a surcharge for Thursday & Friday’ (it was Saturday). I then complained and they proceeded to take the sign down as it was wrong (there shouldn’t have been a surcharge as it was not a long weekend). Disappointed again as my nail has now chipped pretty badly (only 4 days later) for BIAB which is meant to last a long time. Sadly I will not be returning and they have lost a long time customer after charging $90 for something that chipped very quickly.

Before the big day, we had several consultation appointments to get my hair wedding-ready - she brilliantly brought my colour vision to life and offered expert recommendations on how to tame my hair into the style I wanted. On the wedding day itself, Emma brought the most relaxing and calming presence - exactly what I needed when the nerves kicked in! Her timing was perfect, ensuring everyone was ready without any stress. I got ready with my family, and she took it all in her stride - patiently accommodating all the mother-of-the-bride requests and laughed at dad’s lame jokes. Her versatility with both hair and makeup saved me from coordinating multiple vendors, making the entire morning smooth and enjoyable. The hair and makeup lasted beautifully throughout the entire day and night, even through tears and dancing! Narissa Fry The ladies that run this business are lovely. They listened to what I wanted and were super flexible with affordable prices. The only downside is there is only two of them so sometimes there can be longer than usual wait times but the service and attention to detail is definitely worth it. Every pedicure also gets a lovely calf massage. Will be recommending this place to everyone. Very happy with my whole experience.

Anastasia Dawes After going to my usual hairdresser for years over in Frenchs Forest and getting the worst haircut ever the other day, I called into Mel’s to see if they could fix up my haircut and was greeted with a smile. The ladies are very friendly and helpful and I was able to get in in the afternoon. A huge shout out to Emily who did an amazing job. I just love what she did. So happy with the new haircut.
