Katandra Bushland Sanctuary - Ingleside (NSW)

5 /5 Elena del Castillo: Awesome place for a short or longer bush walk. Great to bring the kids and explore. Bring some coins for donation. Really clean rustic toilet with running water and soap too.

3 /5 Perri Bradley: This unknown sanctuary is conveniently close to the northern beaches, just off Mona vale road. Its a hidden gem amongst housing. All contributions go directly back into sanctuary which is run by volunteers. The track is only a few kilometres long with the option of walking the entire perimeter or a short walk. There is plenty of maps to go around that include points of interest along your walk, plus more information, history and visual aids about the sanctuary in the hut. One of the best things about this sanctuary is that you are encourage to explore, go off the track. Would recommend for 30min easy bush walk

5 /5 Max Tennant: A really nice little spot. There is a walk that takes about an hour to get around. Youll see Bush Turkeys, and bird life, Wallabies and wildflowers. There are wood fire BBQs and picnic tables with decent toilets.

5 /5 M Emily (Emozlie): A great place to experience local flora and fauna on the Northern Beaches. There are a few bushwalking tracks which will show you different areas of the sanctuary. In season, there are amazing birds and flowers to experience. Check the opening hours for the sanctuary to meet the volunteers and learn about the history of the sanctuary in their learning hut.
