5 /5 Elena del Castillo: Awesome place for a short or longer bush walk. Great to bring the kids and explore. Bring some coins for donation. Really clean rustic toilet with running water and soap too.
3 /5 paul cristina: Scenic bushland walk. Check it out in spring for wildflowers, birdlife and native animals.
3 /5 Perri Bradley: This unknown sanctuary is conveniently close to the northern beaches, just off Mona vale road. Its a hidden gem amongst housing. All contributions go directly back into sanctuary which is run by volunteers.
The track is only a few kilometres long with the option of walking the entire perimeter or a short walk.
There is plenty of maps to go around that include points of interest along your walk, plus more information, history and visual aids about the sanctuary in the hut.
One of the best things about this sanctuary is that you are encourage to explore, go off the track.
Would recommend for 30min easy bush walk
5 /5 Max Tennant: A really nice little spot. There is a walk that takes about an hour to get around. Youll see Bush Turkeys, and bird life, Wallabies and wildflowers. There are wood fire BBQs and picnic tables with decent toilets.
5 /5 M Emily (Emozlie): A great place to experience local flora and fauna on the Northern Beaches. There are a few bushwalking tracks which will show you different areas of the sanctuary. In season, there are amazing birds and flowers to experience. Check the opening hours for the sanctuary to meet the volunteers and learn about the history of the sanctuary in their learning hut.
vintagepimpage 604 Great place to visit in sydney, its free , its beautiful and most all its clean , this little hidden gem within the city is fantastic, its a short walk down to the river and you can choose to continue to walk along the river or use a great climbing trail in the opposite direction, definitely will be back again
Josefina Nunez Great attraction at Luna Park! There was a bit of a queue, but nothing crazy. It goes a bit slow at the beginning once they get everyone sorted but then it goes around 2/3 times until the get everyone off.
Toby Evans McDougall Street is a must see if you really enjoy jacaranda trees,
Just be aware it is still a functioning street so be careful around cars and traffic.
The park right next to it is perfect for a family picnic.
Sess L Weekend market under the harbour bridge! This is one of the must go markets in Sydney. There are several sections of the market selling different stuffs. Plenty of cafe around the area too. Don’t forget to have a stroll on the harbour bridge and sock in the iconic Sydney harbour view!
World Explorer This place has a small village town center feeling hidden in Sydney. It’s quite relaxing and quiet to have a cup of coffee in one of the shops.
