Christine Alimane Thought to give this place a try because it looked nice from the outside and I live nearby (15min). I usually go to a place in Broadway but I wasnt in the mood to trek it into the city. I am quite picky with nail salons as cleanliness is a top priority for me. I was impressed by the clean facilities and the chill vibes. I was greeted warmly and the staff asked a lot of clarifying questions to better understand what I liked. The massage chairs were great and the hot stones during the pedicure were a pleasant surprise. I was very impressed with their attention to detail when applying normal nail polish and shellac. Efforts were made to get to know me and I found both staff members polite. By the time I finished, the salon became quite busy so I would recommend making an appointment and being on time. I took a chance by walking in during lunch time on a weekday. I love my new nails for Lunar New Year! Thank you so much and I will definitely be coming back.

Closet La Vy I HAD AN EXTREMELYYYY BADDDD EXPERIENCE HERE, EVERYONE SHOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!!! I rarely post any reviews on Google, but my experience with getting my nails done at Professionail Marrickville today urges me to raise awareness for everyone. I had my manicure and gel nails done. There was a 40s-female staff came out to do the service. During the whole process, this staff always tried to do it as quickly as possible to get it done, without putting her heart into what she was doing. She was in such a hurry that she just cut the customers nail skin without caring about how thin the skin is, and of course with that kind of carelessness, cutting skin was an inevitable thing. She cut my skin and it bled profusely, it was swollen, but she only said 1 word "sorry", I can see she was not sincerely feeling guilty. Is she mute? Every time she wanted the customer to change hands, she didnt even open her mouth to speak, but instead tapped the customers hand? In addition, can you guys evaluate the level of “perfection” of gel polish on the customers nails like this? The surface of the polish is rough, the polish is smudged all over the customers skin. Or is it because I just did gel polish and manicure so the staffs attitude wasnt happy??? Working in the service industry but the level of customer service equals zero, if you dont know how to do nails, dont go to work to get money from customers, I paid for my service, not for free???

Elle Morgan-Thomas I am so glad to have found Helen! Not only is she an incredibly lovely person, she is so precise and fast in her work, creates well structured BIAB (which is not my consistent experience with other BIAB technicians), and her artistic skills are excellent. She does a fabulous job with my nails at a very realistic price too for a 1:1 setting. I also enjoyed a pedicure today that was so nice and relaxing. I highly recommend Helen and am so glad to have someone with her skills in the Five Dock/Drummoyne area!

Louise I have been coming to Citron and Slate for as long as I can remember. The salon is stunning, the team make you feel so special every time you visit and my hair is always styled to perfection. The attention to detail is next to none from the products used, to the scalp assessment and hair wash experience to the final blow wave - you walk out feeling amazing.

Lillian Farland I went yesterday and got my set taken off and then a manicure with gel polish. The lady drilled into my pinky so much it went through and cut the underlying skin. She also cut my cuticles to the point that when I put my fingers in the remover it stung. Then when it came time to polishing my nails she didn’t let them sit under the light long enough to cure properly resulting in my polish to bubble really bad. The service was nice but the quality of my nails just isn’t. Now I remember why I stopped going there

Sophia Never left feeling disappointed. Time and time again Danielle gets my cut and colour just how I like it. She straightens hair really well and does the best blow out too. Very glad I found her salon. Highly recommend!

Karine Gouriou I have been going to Linh for about 20 years. Throughout the years I moved to different locations but I always went back to her. I love the way she cut, style and texturise my hair and I haven’t found someone who does it as well as she does (for me anyway). The head massage is also lovely. Excellent service. For me, she’s the best hair dresser! I Highly recommend!
