1 /5 Miyah: ⭐ 1 Star – Deeply Humiliating and Unprofessional Experience
I’ve never written a negative review in my life, but my experience at Le Nails Day Spa – Rouse Hill Town Centre was so degrading, I feel compelled to share it — not just for myself, but so others can avoid being treated the way I was.
I walked in expecting a relaxing, self-care moment and walked out feeling humiliated, belittled, and completely disrespected.
As soon as the staff saw my hands, they immediately commented on them being “dirty” and said they wouldn’t be able to do a full set manicure. The so-called “dirt” they were referring to was clearly black hair dye — something many people who color their hair at home or professionally have dealt with. It washes off over time and is completely harmless. I politely explained this, but instead of listening or responding with basic human decency, they accused me of lying and refused service entirely.
It didn’t stop there.
What followed was not just rude — it was downright demeaning. They began making loud, snide remarks about the price of their services and implied that I wouldn’t be able to afford them. In front of a salon full of people, they talked over me, talked about me, and made sure every customer could hear them essentially mocking me. The tone, the facial expressions, the volume — it all felt intentional, as if their goal was to embarrass me and make an example out of me.
Their treatment didn’t just cost me a manicure — it tore down my self-esteem in a public place where I should’ve felt safe and cared for. I left in tears, not just over my nails, but over how low they made me feel as a human being.
No one deserves to be treated like this — especially over something so small and easily explained. Black hair dye on skin does not make someone dirty or unworthy of service. And financial assumptions based on someone’s appearance or occupation? Completely out of line, classist, and wrong.
There are countless nail salons out there who treat their customers with dignity and respect. Please, for your own peace of mind and self-worth, go literally anywhere else.
