1 /5 Betha Osaka: Please Say No to Camel Rides in Sydney: Speak Up for the Animals
Hi everyone,
I want to sincerely ask you to reconsider participating in camel riding activities in Sydney. While it might seem like a fun or unique experience, the reality behind these attractions is heartbreaking.
Each camel is forced to carry two people at a time—an overwhelming amount of weight for hours on end. These animals often work non-stop for 7 to 8 hours a day with little to no rest. They don’t get to choose this life. They walk in endless circles, exhausted, just to entertain us.
This isn’t a cultural experience—it’s animal cruelty.
We shouldn’t support any activity that profits from the suffering of another living being. If you care about animals and their well-being, please join me in saying no to camel rides. There are so many more compassionate and ethical ways to enjoy our time and connect with nature.
Animals are not entertainment. They feel pain, exhaustion, and stress just like we do. Let’s travel with kindness and awareness.
Be the voice they don’t have.
