Hyde Park - NSW

Trail Hiking Australia Hyde Park is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Sydney! As Australia’s oldest park, it’s rich in history and offers 16 hectares of open space to explore. The Anzac Memorial and Archibald Fountain are standout attractions, along with plenty of other monuments and statues. There’s a great alfresco café with seating for up to 90 people, making it a perfect spot to relax. The park is easily accessible, with St James and Museum train stations right next door, plus buses and light rail nearby. Plenty of shaded areas and well-maintained public toilets make it a comfortable place to spend time. Highly recommend!

Forest Sky Pier - NSW

Diksha Kotnala Breathtaking views from up to the top. You can take your car till the lookout point. We did the smallest 35 min trail, I believe the Gumgali track that goes from the the left of the lizards picture near the treetop adventure. It was a short, quiet and nice walk to a beautiful lookout point.

Greater Hume Visitor Information Centre and Holbrook Submarine Museum - NSW

Saad Habib Ahmed Two attractions are worth visiting. One is depiction of WW story through Hologram and second is the submarine control room, where you can actually use the periscope. Beside those, there are several other pieces of information. :)

Jared Dmello One of my favourite places to run! Gorgeous views, well kept path, water fill stations along the way!

Fishponds - NSW

Usher Nic (Tui) Large boulders worn by water into fantastic shapes. Climb on top to meditate or eat lunch. A sandy beach is minute or two downstream. Always cool in the heat. Sheltered from wind. Water quality is not good enough to swim but the water is clear even after rain. Plentiful ferns, flowers and birds. Few weeds. Very little rubbish.

Ginger Meggs Park - NSW

Syed Daniyal Haider Nice little place. Great for a quick photo if you need green backgrounds. There is a small waterway close by and a trial too. Please note dogs are allowed here so sometimes there will be a few in the evening.

Reddy Park - NSW

Marcie B My great grandfather (maternal) bequeathed the land for this beautiful park to the people of Hornsby with the proviso that the trees never be cut down. I live interstate but try and visit every time I’m in Sydney.
