Allan Small Oval - NSW

Paula Layton Great place for walking at the weekends when most other parks/ovals are full of sporting teams and their supporters as well as small children on bikes/scooter etc. - nice to see, but a bit hazardous for elderly walkers. Alan Small Oval is quiet and sheltered and never seems to get crowded. Also very attractive surrounded by trees and offering numerous sightings of kookaburras, wild rabbits etc. Unisex/disabled toilet available til 10 pm daily.

Kissing Point Park Putney - NSW

Robyn Smith This is my go to place for a bit of peace and quiet. The view of the river is restful and the park is large enough so it is easy to find a quiet spot away from other users.

Wallumatta loop trail - NSW

Tanya Vanderkooi This is a small natural bushland reserve with a small loop trail through the bushland. There are no toilets or benches to sit on. The trail is easy and only takes a few minutes to walk around.
