Pylon Lookout - The Rocks (NSW)

4 /5 Tony Chote: The view is magnificent, especially on a sunny day. However, I feel the admission fee of almost AUD 30 per person is rather expensive. The museum itself is small, primarily recounting the history of the bridge, information readily available online. From the viewpoint, one can see the Circular Quay area, the Opera House, and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. If you have the funds, a visit is worthwhile; otherwise, taking pictures from the bridge itself provides a similar perspective.

5 /5 Nataliia Semenenko: We absolutely enjoyed our experience and time at the Pylon Lookout. The 360-degree view worth the money in 100%. Mind that to get there you will have to climb the stairs, sometimes narrow. There is no lift, so this place is not accessible. We didn’t book tickets in advance and it was fine on a weekday. When visiting please be advised to check the latest entrance time - on the day of our visit it was 15:30. It’s very windy at the top. And if you’re cold or tired, you can choose to sit inside a little room and relax - before continuing enjoying the view. There is a museum inside. Totally recommend checking the history of the bridge and what it meant to built it.

5 /5 Ravindu Wattuhewa: Pylon Lookout offers an incredible panoramic view of Sydney, with stunning sights of Darling Harbour and the Opera House. Its a peaceful spot to take in the beauty of the city, and the climb up is totally worth it for the breathtaking photos. Definitely a must-see for anyone visiting Sydney!

5 /5 Meg: Learning about the history of this incredible bridge is so interesting. The foresight to include lanes for trains, cars, bikes, and walking is impressive. The views of Sydney Harbour from the Pylon Lookout will take your breath away. Such a gorgeous Harbour and beautiful city!

5 /5 Nancy Green: Once found pylon museum was well worth the entry fee. Very informative regarding bridge history & construction and lookout views were amazing. In our opinion a cheaper but better experience than the bridge climb.
