Barnetts lookout - NSW

Ally NV Really beautiful lookout. Free parking, not many spaces though. Kids playing area and picnic benches before a brief walk to the lookout. If you go around the fence you can walk down a bit further for a better view, just be careful!! No one else was there when we visited on a Sunday, very peaceful.

Naa Badu Lookout - NSW

Sam Sam This lookout is a nice walk from berowra station and has good views. This also has sitting arrangements so if you feel tired you can sit and have coffee (BYO) while looking at the creek. Within one kilometer you can access the Coles supermarket and cafes in Berowra village market.

Great North Walk - Berowra Waters to Cowan - NSW

Sean Nairn This section of the Great North Walk offers some of the most challenging terrain of the entire walk, with a number of large climbs and descents. You are rewarded with extensive bush and water views and the peaceful sounds of the Australian bush. There is no water on the track so you will need to fill up at Berowra Waters or Cowan. Camping is available at the Ridgetop Campground at Berowra Heights.

Carlingford Road Footbridge - NSW

Jack Lee The only pedestrian overpass connects both sides of the road, and the school is located next to the overpass. There are lifts on both sides of the overpass for the convenience of pedestrians. The overpass is also the highest point on Carlingford Road, where you can overlook the surrounding scenery. Balaka Falls - NSW

Sam “SS” This was breathtaking. You must visit after alot of rain to get the best experience. Best thing about this location is you dont need to walk far to find it, its about 1 minute walk from where I parked that was at the entrance. So if you just want to enjoy the waterfall without the hike this is definitely the place to visit.
