Ted Horwood Reserve - NSW

Shian Cooray Amazing bushwalk. We started near the tennis courts and crossed Renown road. Walked along Darling Mills Creek up to the M2. Then walked along Stevenson Creek up to Reserve road and back to Baulkham Hills sports club. It is difficult to believe the existence of such a beautiful bushwalk so close to built up areas. There are a few rough areas so you have to be reasonably fit to attempt this bushwalk.

Erlestoke Park - NSW

Min Jun Cho One of the best parks in Castle Hill with a very good basketball court with a smooth floor apart from the double rims. One of the rims were donated a chain net from the basketball community which was nice to see. The grass and playground are very nice. There is a long path surrounding the park for walks and there are many benches to sit at and relax. There are multiple entrances to the park which is also convenient.

Black Muscat Park - NSW

Benjamin Swinfield Nice local park. Good for picnics and BBQs. Although, dont play any music... security came up and told us to turn it off! I think this might actually be the Footloose town! As everything fun seems to be banned! Haha

Terrigal Ocean Tours - NSW

Megan Smythe I have been out on the whale watching boat many times and have never been disappointed! Andrew and Andy the skippers are awesome along with the rest of their crew/whale spotters. I have been fortunate on many occasions to have whales approach the boat and breach and put on an amazing show. This tour really respects the whales and is informative. A great day on the ocean with these guys everytime!

Woolgoolga Beach and Headland - NSW

Cheeky Richo Just a short drive off the freeway is Woopi headland at Woolgoolga. Grab some food in town and head up to the headland and take in the view. Watch the surfers, dolphins and the bird life. Plenty of free parking, walking trails, seating, enjoy whale watching when in season. Spectacular beach vistas to the north and south, outstanding views of solitary Islands. A great spot for a picnic or to relax.

Wyrrabalong National Park - NSW

Shally Konjo Beautiful beach and rockpools. Love exploring the rockpools and seeing the animals we could find there. The rocks themselves were unusually designed with small holes in them. They were laid out in roughly shaped rectangular slabs on the shore. Just be careful when walking on them, as they are slippery. We enjoyed this outing (minus a flat tyre we got on the way to another location. But Im not going to let that put a dampener on my trip there!).

Eden Killer Whale Museum - NSW

Rodney Stuckey Very informative museum with very well laid out displays and presentations. The staff were helpful and guided us through the centre. The audio/visual presentation was very enlightening about the whaling history and gave a good information grounding for the rest of the centres display. Really enjoyed the visit.
