5 /5 Phani Ravinuthala: Good walking track, cricket nets and play equipment for young kids. Great park for entire family to stay active
4 /5 Wai Keong Lee: A nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing park. It would be even better with more shaded areas for comfort on sunny days.
4 /5 Amanda Leschmann: The park looks new as well as the equipment, does get a bit hot under the sun so make sure you bring a hat there are shaded areas but not at the play equipment. I did find the slippery slide a bit steep for younger kids but everything here seems to encourage imaginative play and get the kids to work on their motor skills. I really like the mini road signs they have in the park we didnt bring a bicycle this time but the track looks like it would be good for beginners.
3 /5 Laura T: We like this park. Play equipment thats a little bit different from all the other ones. Added bonus the oval next to the playground doubles as a fully fenced dog park. We dont have a dog, but love meeting other dogs. And theres an entry to Lane Cove NP. Didnt check out the toilets, but looked OK from the outside. Bit of shade on the play equipment would be nice, but gazebo and bench available
4 /5 Nicholas Little: Ron Payne Park has a nice big oval that is popular with dog walkers on week days. There is a new amenities block. There are no under cover benches unfortunately. There is a pick nick table with shelter near the children,s play area. The childrens play area has a train and transport theme and is beautifully done. There are bush walks through Scribbly Gum woodland, to do, into the National Park adjacent R P Park.
Kenneth Chan Great scenic walk by Parramatta River. Parks are well maintained by City of Ryde Council. Parking available on-site and by surrounding residential street parking.
Social Bee Kesterton Park is newly renovated with a play area for kids and a workout station for parents. The workout station is strategically places so parents can keep an eye on the kids while working out. Beautiful water view surround the park. The park is an easy access to the ferries via north Sydney wharf.
Xiao Zhuo Wen The public facilities are very good, the park environment is very good, the public toilets are clean, and it is only a few minutes walk to the observation deck, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Sydney Bridge, CBD, Opera House and Harbor. This is a good place for families and couples to gather, as well as a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset.
Judy CP We absolutely love coming here. We park at Harbourside Wilson carpark. My son loves playing in the water park and in the play ground. Plenty of space to set up your pram etc. Heaps of food options available.
