1 /5 Cindy V: Do not come here. Would give this place ZERO stars if I could. My healthy regrowth hair got chemically burned off (40 vol developer + bleach used, combined with scorching hot temperature using a heating device). During the treatment, my scalp felt like it was on fire, so I had to shift forward in my chair from the discomfort. Would not recommend this place to anybody; I came back to the salon to complain and asked for a refund due to the extensive damage incurred to my hair, and they didn’t want anything to do with it, and then turned around to call ME “dishonest”. On the day of the terrible service, I went into the salon, and they offered full head of foils, but it was more than I expected to pay, so I asked for half a head of foils instead. No treatment prior was offered, and I wasn’t made aware of any risks- I was led to believe that instead of getting a full head of foils, I would only get HALF a head of foils using the SAME treatment. Regardless, it was the combination of chemical and heat damage (over processing of my hair) that ultimately led to the breakage of my healthy hair (regrowth), so that all that’s left at the top-back of my head (where the bleach was applied) are short 4cm strands of hair. I was attending a wedding the day after. It was such an embarrassing day where wedding guests walked up to me to ask about my terrible hair, and there is no way in fixing it. Do not come here, if they ruin your hair, they’ll take no responsibility and just ask you to leave, as they have done with me. I went to a real hair dresser afterwards, who helped assess the damage, and they were shocked to see how badly Salon City had damaged my hair. Clearly, the hair stylist (Mimi) is inexperienced and doesn’t understand basic chemistry for proper and correct use of corrosives (i.e. developer and bleach). She was flabbergasted as to how my hair was in such a state of ruin; she couldn’t put 2 and 2 together to understand that her choice of using 40 vol developer in combination with scorching hot heat from a heating device could destroy someone’s hair. Her lack of experience and knowledge, as well as her resistance to learning from her mistakes means that there will be many more victims to come after this incident. She is negligent, ignorant, and downright rude and unprofessional, and is probably the worst person I’ve ever met in my life; no empathy, no sense of responsibility or accountability for her actions. She even tried to throw her own colleague under the bus to shift the blame and responsibility to someone else! Final photo clearly shows where the hair had broken off after Mimi’s horrendous bleaching. This whole experience has been a nightmare. To this day, there has been no acknowledgement of her mistakes, and certainly no apology.

1 /5 Falguni Sanyal: Worst experience ever in my life! Got their promotional keratin treatment and a hair cut. From the beginning they were unprofessional with me. Did not even looked at my hair properly got my scalp burned so many times but still endured thinking it would be worth it in the end. Once they finished, I asked them to give me the restyle cut which was U shaped. But they messed that up as well trying to finish up quickly. After washing the hair according to their instructions, it was exactly the same like it used to be before the treatment! I even brought the shampoo and conditioner suggested by them! Called them to know the reason behind it. They were so unprofessional on the phone. Asking me to call back after 20 min, then on the 2nd time again asked me to call back after 15 min. Seriously! Very disappointed. You should treat all of your customer equally. Not recommended at all! Ps- and before they say they didnt have me as a client. Please see the attached picture. I spent 195 dollar for nothing. Fraud salon!

5 /5 Jade Lee: Trusted my hair with Maryanna and was not disappointed!! She transformed my hair amazingly and got it to what I imagined with a full head of foils. Price charged was great compared to other salons and I also got a few treatments which were recommended to prevent damage to my hair! Wish I had before pics but below is after, pls note I’ve had foils previously 4 times. I’ve gotten so many compliments and will definitely be going back to her soon! Thank you, Jade xx

5 /5 Chantel Momsen: Thank you to the beautiful ladies Mimi and MJ (love you girls) for the best hair dresser experience I have ever had. Super friendly and what an amazing job they did with my hair. Turquoise extensions added and cut to concave bob. Highly recommended.

2 /5 Katalin Pohl: Ask for a pricing before service as their online price list is out of date. I had a colour correction service this morning, spent two hours in the chair and basically had a full head foils, toner, 5 mins treatment and a blow dry. MJ was very friendly and knew exactly what I wanted. During the service she mentioned that she needed to use quality products to protect my hair and it will cost more than an average full head foils. I said no problem, thinking an extra $100. My hair colour turned out great, see the pictures below. Is it $700 worth of great? I certainly don’t think so. Mind you,I got a gift box of hair products because I had a “big service.” In summary, great customer service and I am happy with the colour but I think it’s way overpriced. I should have questioned it but I was dumbstruck and just paid and left.
