2 /5 Amy C: I felt compelled to write this review after my recent phone call with Jessica. The story goes, early in the year I booked online for a Blow Dry at Unique Hair. I showed up on time and was seated by Jessica, after waiting about 20 minutes for her to finish another client she brought me over to wash my hair. All went well and actually the blow dry was fantastic HOWEVER, thats not my gripe here.
When I was leaving she asked if next time I dont book online as it charges her, whilst that makes sense I dont quite understand why she would have the online booking system on top of that, the salon is dirty and unkept.
Fast forward about 6-8months to today, I called to book for another blow dry (as per her request). Immediately when she answers the phone I say Hello and request a blow dry for tomorrow. She proceeds to say "can I call you back? I ask "when?" and she says "soon, I am with a customer" and hangs up.
In the meantime I booked a blow dry somewhere else. She calls me back, when she does, I politely let her know that and she says "Okay Bye!"
Look, I understand small business, I have run a small business. I get it. But Jessica, youre losing customers because of your manner and service NOT because of your lack of talent. I urge you to rethink your strategy for customer service because just like my review, many others seem to be discouraged due to the way they have been treated.
