This track can get very busy during weekends and public holidays. At places the track is narrow and can get congested with trail runners

5 /5 Mary Ha: The Wedding Cake Rock Trail is a beautiful coastal walk that’s surprisingly easy to complete. The track is only about 1 hour round trip from Bundeena, making it perfect for a quick escape into nature. Although there are a few sections with slight uphill and downhill sections, it’s still an accessible trail for most people with a moderate level of fitness. The $12 national park entry fee is totally worth it for the incredible views and the experience of walking through the stunning Australian coastline. It’s a fantastic spot for whale and dolphin watching during the right season! I’d highly recommend this trail to anyone who enjoys hiking but doesn’t want something too intense. A perfect blend of beauty and ease – great for a relaxed but rewarding outdoor adventure!

4 /5 Therealworld: Entrance to this walk is at the end of Beachcomber Ave. A 6km out and back well formed and very popular trail. National Parks does a good job of maintaining it so it is usable all year round. Some amazing North and South coastal views from many locations. The wedding cake rock is a bit of a let down when you get there due to the safety fencing now erected because of the instability of the cliff face. The walk is nice and on a perfect day it’s even better!

5 /5 Pincy Jones: Pretty amazing spot. The initial walk is relatively easy but there are a couple of spots to be cautious of especially if its been raining the day before. Still plenty of whales around in early October and there was also a pod of Dolphins on my walk. Best to go early in the morning for parking.
