shereen ean khor In my first review in 2023, I wrote: “I was looking for a good haircut which is hard to find these days. My Google search led me to Choi. His skill with the scissors and confidence with the way he handled my hair gave me a chic haircut exactly how I wanted it. I like that he’s courteous and focused and did not take on multiple appointments at the same time, which can be very distracting at other salons.” After 5-6 visits, I’m beginning to understand why the reviews have ranged from 1* to 5*! It’d appear that Choi has good days and bad. On a bad day, he would just rush through the cut and seemed distracted, with little interest to meet customers request. I had to return to rectify a very unbalanced cut and he wasn’t pleased despite his mistake. Where’s that courteous professional gone?! I feel compelled to write this update so as not to mislead potential customers.

PSR Ive been going to Belcastro for over two years now, and its consistently a great experience. All the staff are friendly, professional, and create a welcoming atmosphere. I usually get my haircut from Michael—hes clearly an expert at what he does and always does an amazing job. Today, I had my hair coloured by Emma, and I just have to give her a special shoutout. From the moment I sat in the chair, she made me feel completely comfortable and taken care of. Im not a big talker, and she picked up on that straight away—she really respected my space. And the head massage she gave was absolute bliss. After a particularly stressful week, I left feeling truly relaxed and rejuvenated. Liz C Lux, thank you a million times for the best balayage I’ve ever received. I’ve had balayage from some of the best salons in NYC, and nowhere compares to this balayage experience. Also, the girls that shampooed my hair are amazing. They basically gave me a free 40$ scalp massage!

C B I honestly can’t thank Letitia and John enough for being such an important part of our wedding day. They travelled all the way to Palm Beach to do my hair, my bridesmaids hair, and my mum’s — and even managed to fit my Nana in last minute without a fuss. Letitia and John brought such a calm yet happy energy to the house while we were getting ready, and nothing was ever an issue. They made the whole morning feel relaxed, special, and full of joy. I’ve been visiting Letitia’s salon for nearly six years now, and she’s become such a cherished friend, I knew we were in safe hands! I’m so thankful to both her and John for helping us all feel absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have imagined the day without them!

VinZR89 Been a regular here ever since moving to Cammeray back in 2019. The boys are experts in their craft and I always walk out feeling fresh, clean and renewed. Good to have a stable and reliable spot locally for a life essential activity.

Jodi Fernandez I had my colour refreshed to a beautiful vibrant orange. Having dark hair and beieg a variation of honey blonde for the last few years they were able to achieve this look with ease. Dealing with Roschan and Olly was a great experience. They made sure to look after my hair and repair any damage caused by ongoing foils. I left with great advise for at home care as well. Would highly recommend!

Kim Hill Zoe fitted me in at the last minute and I was running late but nothing was too much trouble, Zoe was really accommodating and a genuinely lovely person, I am on holiday here and I left the salon not only feeling very glam but like I had known her a lifetime.
