Goldstein Reserve - NSW

Rock Merjudio Nice park with lots of birds hopping from tree to tree. We saw rainbow lorikeets, noisy miners and red wattlebirds. There is a free public toilet here. The reserve is on a slope. It can get very windy especially in winter. There are memorials here for victimes of the Bali bombing.

Grant Reserve - NSW

Jamie S It was very windy near the pergola so we moved our party further across the field and over under the trees near the BBQs and it was less windy. Pretty views of Coogee beach, a few tables and chairs. No bare feet on grass, very spiky.

North Arm Walking Track - NSW

Kathleen Young Another beautiful walk in the heart of Sydney. Easy enough to do and combined with the Harry Reid Foreshore track equates to about 11km to up to 13km if you want to do extra lookouts and detours. You tend to go into and out of the bush with some short street walking. The views of middle harbour are lovely.

Cape Solander - NSW

David Beautiful whale watching lookout with lots of shade and ample parking. It is also the start point of the Cape Baily track which goes all the way to Kurnell. From this viewpoint you can witness a panoramic view of the Aussie coast and the ocean. For those biking along the road from town this is a great spot for a break. There are however no water fountains or restrooms. Parking is payed.
