5 /5 Dave Glover: Fantastic walk.
Beautiful, impressive rainforest and nice waterfalls.
So peaceful. I was in my element here.
Quite a walk, but most people should be able to handle it if you take your time
4 /5 Andreas Ludwig: Nice nature walk. Lots of impressive trees and probably birds if you manage to come at the right time. We only spotted some wooden birds. Nice for kids to spot, I guess. Very well maintained boardwalk - relatively easy to reach.
5 /5 Joe Pearce: A well paved walk with two suspended bridges past waterfalls. Epic straggling figs and variety of trees. Grand ferns and wait o while. Seats along way with glimpses of valley views, with beautiful birds, even saw a female lyre bird but was to quick to photograph ! hidden art, informative displays of birds and trees. One of the best rainforest short paved walks ever been on. went late afternoon and not a single other person. Except for the road traffic noise in the distance was pretty close to perfect on the enjoyment scale.
3 /5 Tanya Ipswich: Its a beautiful place, but dont go if there is a chance of rain! We started our 6km walk in fine weather but it turned quickly mid-walk. Walking through the rain was lovely and the mist added to the experience, but then it got heavier and the paths started flooding. I still didnt mind the experience up to this point. Then while standing at the second waterfall, my daughter asked what the thing on her poncho was... it was a leech. From that moment on, we were pulling leeches off ourselves the whole way back. Hubby was the only one who kept count and he pulled 26 off himself alone. It was a very hasty return to the Rainforest Centre indeed! Then the sculptures outside it made sense to us! They must be a regular feature on the Wonga Walk.
5 /5 Lucy Williams: We arrived before sunset set & it was incredible!! Such a lovely walk down Crystal Falls and back up - we were the only ones in the park! Would highlight recommend getting up early for this peaceful walk!
Jack Frost Manly let my son and I attend a training session, I met DCE and a few players signed my jersey, Manly do a lot of good things behind the scenes its a credit to them
Colin Christie This should have been the site for the "North Connet" fresh air intake. It would have saved 12 house being taken in Wilson Road by the government. No one ever uses the site except for 1 week a year to sell Christmas trees. The site has noisy cars on all three sides making it almost impossible to talk. No toilets. It was the obvious site for the air intake given these facts.
