Josh S Great gym lots of great people in it, friendly staff and is on a great spot, however would be nice if they had a t-bar row machine, hip abductor machine and a seated calf raises machine

Andrew Williams I had a very disappointing experience when trying to support one of my clients—who has a psychosocial disability and severe social anxiety—to return to the gym.
As a mental health clinician, I attempted to discuss the possibility of attending with my client briefly as a familiar support person, to help him feel safe during his first couple of visits. Unfortunately, I was met with a staff member who was abrupt, dismissive, and unwilling to listen. I was told that no clinicians are allowed to accompany clients, even in a non-clinical, supportive capacity.
The staff member failed to consider the situation with any flexibility or understanding, and even dismissed the opportunity for me to refer my client to their in-house exercise physiologist—something I would have been open to discussing had the conversation been approached more respectfully.
This interaction made it clear to me that this gym is not welcoming or inclusive for individuals with psychosocial or neurodivergent conditions. I would not recommend this facility to anyone seeking a supportive environment for themselves or a loved one with mental health challenges.
