Modus Brewing - Food NSW

4 /5 Travis Legge: Modus Brewery has a good atmosphere and the beer was definitely the highlight — a solid range and well brewed. The food was okay overall, but felt a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. Not bad for a casual visit if you’re mainly there for the beer, but the food didn’t quite match the price.

2 /5 Helen L: The service wasn’t great, the bar staff couldn’t explain the type or taste of the beer on the menu. When we got out food, we asked the staff for salt and they forgot to bring it out so we had to go up to the kitchen to get some. Whilst at the kitchen we saw the chef plate up someone else’s order and then eat the chips off the plate of food. The hugo spritz tasted like stale prosecco and not like a spritz should. The pulled pork tacos were dry and were drenched in mayo to compensate for the dryness. The venue itself was nice and has potential however, I wouldn’t recommend it in its current state.

1 /5 Bells: Have been many times over the years. But tonight was so bad we will not be back. Staff too busy hanging with friends at the end of the bar. Leaving a long line to order. If they are on a break best to have them not be together with friends. Onre poor staff member doing everything else. Should have taken the hint from staff when she asked if wanted extra with the nachos as there is no sauce. Thought sounded a bit odd but still ordered. As you can see from the photo the nachos were dry.
