1 /5 Cherena Kantaroski: Lovely looking place, muffins and cakes looked delicious and the coffee was reasonably priced though I didnt get any. No menu at the area you order and its very awkwardly organised with a counter in front of the counter you order at so kitchen staff are walking through the area you order constantly, and theres no area to wait. Got a bacon and egg muffin with avocado on it. $14 for a bacon and egg muffin is pretty high up there but not totally out of the real of normal. $5.50 for smashed avocado is absolutely insane! Ive seen $2/3/4 before on much cheaper bacon and egg rolls, never have I spent more than $15 for a bacon and egg roll with avocado, even in Cronulla or the city. I was not advised of the additional charge which, given how insane it is, Id recommend doing in future because I would have immediately left if I had been told prior to payment. I had high expectations, thats for sure. The server asked my name but didnt ask how it was spelt. A small detail but for an almost $20 bacon and egg roll Id expect the best service. Got my roll after a 10 minute wait which isnt too bad considering its Sunday morning. Imagine my surprise at the smear of maybe a quarter of an avocado? For $5.50. An absolute rort. I laughed as everyone at work was shocked by how pathetic it was. Actually dont even know what to say. I bought a pack of 5 avocados yesterday for $6. Felt that was expensive. I guess this experience will make me appreciate my avocados. It was ultimately quite small (Im only small and it was about the size of my hand), definitely the smallest bacon and egg roll Ive ever purchased. It was not a filling lunch and thus the worst value for money Ive encountered in the entire Sydney metropolitan network.

3 /5 Ashok Sheshma: Recently visited this cafe and overall had a pleasant experience, but there were a few ups and downs. The Summer Breeze drink wasn’t what I expected and tasted a bit strange rather than refreshing. However, the coffee was excellent. The sweet potato fries were super crunchy and delicious, and the chicken dishes were flavourful, though the portion sizes felt a little small for the price. The vegetarian options were disappointing. The mezze pasta tasted more like a curry than a pasta dish, which really didn’t work for me. Overall, it’s a nice cafe with some standout items, but it does feel a bit expensive and probably isn’t the best choice for vegetarians at lunch.

4 /5 George Lymbers: We visited Blu Eatery with long-time patrons of this establishment, and it’s easy to see why they keep returning. Located in the courtyard area of Hornsby Westfield, the restaurant offers a relaxed and pleasant setting away from the bustle of the shopping centre. Blu Eatery continues to be a consistent provider of quality food, with a reliable menu that delivers well-prepared, flavoursome dishes. While prices do seem to have risen, that unfortunately reflects the times rather than the venue itself. There was a small glitch with one of our dishes, but it was handled promptly and with genuine grace, which speaks volumes about the service and professionalism of the staff. Overall, Blu Eatery remains a solid and dependable choice, and it is certainly well worth returning to for another visit.

5 /5 s vivekananda: Excellent large restaurant at Hornsby mall area just outside Westfield Hornsby near the amazing sculpture fountain. Lovely decor, seating and prompt service. Lots of seating but often crowded. Great menu choices. Prices are reasonable for the food quality offered. Free 3 hour parking is recommended at Westfield hornsby. Can be a little noisy with the mall traffic.

3 /5 Julienne: Had breakfast at Blu Eatery in Hornsby and really enjoyed it. The food was great, though nothing too special or unique. The wait time was quite long, possibly because they seemed a bit short on staff, but the team was friendly and the overall vibe was lovely. It’s a nice spot to relax and enjoy a slow morning.
