5 /5 Dominique Cho: Consistently great French food across several visits over the years. Its a cosy, dimly-lit, two-story restaurant, with a nice wine selection. Good spot for a nice occasion.

2 /5 LXX: I can hardly give a positive review although food and service are both good , nevertheless we were really horrified when we finished main course and while waiting for the dessert, there’s a cockroach quickly running over our table, in front of our eyes, it is astonishing. Understand there’re many restaurants on Hwy next to each other, pest control and cleanliness still have to be a top priority please. We won’t come back again.

5 /5 Amanda Wijeratne: After visiting Cafe Lyon countless times over the last 10 years, I knew I wanted to celebrate my milestone birthday there this year. Last Saturday we hosted 45 people upstairs. We were so thoroughly impressed yet again! Rainer and his team were just fantastic. Prior to the event, Rainer was approachable and accessible, always professional and courteous. He gave us advice on all aspects of the function, but took into consideration all our preferences. Some of our guests had dietary requirements which were effortlessly accommodated. We started the evening with canapés and Cafe Lyon’s signature cocktails as our guests arrived. The canapés were delicious (we wouldn’t expect otherwise!) Special mention must be made to Ned and the other waitstaff who ran the room so well, all night. All were so polite, accommodating and professional. On being seated, meals were ordered and then brought to the table efficiently, taking into consideration dietary requirements. Guests were able to order their entree and main. Sides were brought to the table to share. A croquembouche was the “birthday cake” which came out on cue after a speech, alight with sparklers. The food, as usual, was fantastic. Our guests, all raved about the food- particularly impressed were those who hadn’t been before. The drinks were lovely also. The team were in regular contact with us through our the night which was great. The whole night went so smoothly and to plan. I would recommend Cafe Lyon for any occasion. We’ve always been so happy with our meal and experience every time we’ve been in the past. Now we have first hand experience of how they handle functions and would highly recommend them for this too. 5 /5 Tracy Giang Thai: We had a very lovely dinner at Cafe Lyon restaurant. One of my friend introduced this place for us and I was very satisfied to came here for my birthday. Restaurant has a very cozy ambiance with nice table setting up. Services are adequately friendly and welcoming. Food and desserts are also delicious. Our most surprisingly phenomenal dish was the quail ballotine. We had a blast night. Thanks Cafe Lyon and the team!

4 /5 Lorelei Carneiro: Pleasant atmosphere and nice service. The food was lovely. We all had a variety of dishes. We had the set menu for dinner. My husband had the pork belly for entree which he loved. He said it was super delicious! I had the ocean trout and was lovely. For mains we both had the duck confit which was superb! Really melted in my mouth and perfect flavours. My kids had a various things from the kids menu including the steak which I even tried and was lovely. For dessert we had the soufflé and that was nice probably the least sweet dessert out of all the ones we ordered. I had the chocolate mousse which looked beautiful but it was super sweet - way too sweet! My kids had the pavlova and it was the same. They left half as it was too sweet for them to have. Overall it was really good and we definitely love to comeback. Hopefully they take the feedback into account for the desserts.
