The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh — from the eggs and Lebanese sausages to the falafel, halloumi and avocado. Girdlers Café - Warringah Mall - NSW

Rods Sato Exceptional Food, Service, and Coffee I had an amazing experience at Girdlers! The food and service were absolutely top-notch. The coffee was incredibly fresh, with a rich flavor that stood out. And the banana bread? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—moist, flavorful, and just perfect. Everything about this place, from the quality of the food to the warm and attentive staff, makes it a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Chubbs Brookvale - NSW

Daniel Ryken Chubbs Brewery in Brookvale is a standout on the Northern Beaches — a venue born and bred with American sport in its heart. From the moment you walk in, you feel that authentic American sports bar energy, complete with big screens, good vibes, and ice-cold beer. The atmosphere is fun and lively. The beers are brewed on-site and consistently hit the mark — whether you’re into juicy IPAs, crisp lagers, or something experimental, there’s always something exciting on tap. The food is awesome too, with a menu that pairs perfectly with the beer and the sports — think bold flavours and generous servings. It’s the perfect spot to catch a game, hang out with mates, or just enjoy some seriously good craft beer. A unique and much-needed addition to Sydney’s brewery scene!

Custom cafe - NSW

Tom Headley This little cafe was like an oasis in a light industrial desert! We were doing some work down the road, hungry and desperate for a good lunch. This diamond in the rough saved the day! Custom Burger was one of the best burgers Ive had in a long time. Tasty chips and a great iced latte on a hot day. Friendly and welcoming service and comfortable seating. What more can I say. If we lived in Brookvale, wed be regulars!

Chubby Fish - NSW

McBride Andrew “How good is food !!!” Found this spot after a quick Google search while in the area—and I’m glad I did. Parking was easy, and I was served quickly, which is always a good start. With a hankering for some good, simple, honest fish and chips, I went straight for the “Sydney’s Best Beer Battered Fish and Chips.” The fish of the day was NZ hake, and the meal came in at $16.50. What arrived was a nicely cooked, lightly battered piece of fish—perfect for a rainy day. And of course, it came with a solid hit of chicken salt, as it should. The food was great and the service friendly. My only small comment would be that the texture of the fish was just slightly dry, which made me wonder if it had been previously frozen—but that’s being picky. I’d definitely come back to try more from the menu. Highly recommended for a quick, satisfying fish and chips fix
