Loulou Bistro, Boulangerie & Traiteur - NSW

Shilpa Thakker Great long lunch with food that was so close to being next level. The beef tartare was the standout. Not overly minced, just beautiful fresh pieces of beef, a silky egg yolk on top, and crisp potatoes on the side. Clean, simple, and really well done. Also loved the bean salad with pear. The pear had soaked up the dressing perfectly, which gave the whole dish a great balance of sweetness and acidity, plus really nice texture. The duck was another win. Well cooked and full of flavour. The asparagus unfortunately didn’t quite land for us. We were expecting it to be grilled for more depth of flavour, and the pairing on the plate just didn’t come together as well as the other dishes. The carrot salad was good, and the cheese platter was enjoyable overall, though the blue cheese was milder than we usually prefer. Dessert highlight was the crème caramel. Absolute classic and beautifully executed. So good, especially when you don’t see it on menus that often anymore. Overall, the presentation was fantastic and the quality of ingredients really showed. Flavours just fell a little short of amazing in a few places. Food: 7/10 Service and ambience: 10/10 Huge shoutout to the service team. The wine recommendation was spot on, and special thanks to Dee for such warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly service. It really made the afternoon. Would happily go back, especially for that tartare and dessert.

El Classico Taco - NSW

Tan Prolly one of the best mexican takeaways! If your hike brings you to Milsons Point Station and you are searching for a wholesome meal to reward yourself, head over to this mexican restaurant (that was how we chanced upon this eatery before it was listed on Google Maps)! We tried the burrito bowl, taco and quesadilla (all chicken) and each dish was packed with an abundance of scrumptious ingredients. Highly reccomend the chicken burrito bowl! Every mouthful is a surprise with various textures and ingredients from fruits to vegetables to chicken meat. Have attached the menu for your consideration!

Grace of India Restaurant Sydney - NSW

Nicola Vitaly The chicken biryani was perfect. The spices were visible and bold, complementing each other so well without being overpowering. The texture was amazing, with added fried onions, pomegranate, thinly sliced ginger, etc. It was perfecttt. We had it at medium spiciness. The lamb rogan josh was also perfect. The meat was tender, with no pungent smell that lamb usually has, and the curry was mild and flavorful. We will definitely come back & the waitress (I forgot to ask her name) was very friendly and attentive.

Lavendra Indian - NSW

Armani Firstly, when entering this beautiful restaurant we were greeted by the kind, professional restaurant manager. The atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and calm. The food especially was outstanding, we ordered the tandoori lamb chops with a rich garlic mushroom sauce (recommended by the restaurant manager) and the lamb was cooked beautifully the meat was tender the sauces were perfect. The vegetable momo dumplings were delicate and tasty, the sekuwa lamb was flavourful and had a gorgeous combination of flavours. The Waygu vindaloo with goan spice is definitely full of flavour and spicy, so spice lovers rejoice- this one is for you, beef was cooked beautifully too, the butter chicken was delicious with the naan bread and basmati rice. It was my first time trying the kulfi ice cream with dried rose petals and rose syrup and I really liked this dessert. Did I mention the exceptional views of the harbour with a gorgeous water backdrop? This is Sydney’s Indian Gem, located in Lavender Bay, a must visit, truly an unforgettable experience. Thank you for such a lovely experience delivering exceptional food and impeccable service.
