1 /5 Pepe Oberoi: Hey Mathew,
Wake up and smell the coffee
All you need to do is read your reviews. The common denominator is painfully obvious: the manager at the till. Her default attitude — “Next. What do you want. Tap here.” — is rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
Frankly, if she hates dealing with customers this much, she should find another job.
You’re selling bread. Nothing special. There are at least ten other shops in the same mall selling the exact same thing. Given that, why on earth would anyone choose your place when they’re met with attitude and contempt?
If you think everyone else is wrong, send in mystery shoppers and see for yourself. But don’t be surprised when they report back the same thing.
The behaviour is unbelievable. Sending her on a business or management course would be a total waste of money — she’d be better off staying at home knitting jumpers, because customer service clearly isn’t her skill set.
Let’s be clear: you’re not the cheapest. Not even close. And you’re certainly not the friendliest or most courteous. So what exactly is your selling point?
Take a long look in the mirror while you still can, Mathew — because a shattered mirror is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.
One day you’re busy and the next you’re filling for bankruptcy….
It’s just her that’s the problem the rest are grafters
As we would say in Paris:
BON CHANCE, MON AMIS
