1 /5 Vicki OConnor: I took my 88 yr old father for a haircut and was disgusted at the rough treatment he received. Older people need respect, kindness, and time which clearly he didn’t have. Even though there was no one waiting in the middle of a weekday. All the chairs had hair on them not wiped down. Cost of $40 for a pensioner and yes we only take CASH or transfer. Will be going to ladies hairdresser next door in future.

Great haircuts & beard trims—I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve been coming to Bangor Barber Shop for many years and I am always satisfied with the haircut & beard trim. 1 /5 Paul Mourad: Should be called Bangor Butcher Shop. I told the barber how I wanted my hair cut, he took those instructions and threw them in the bin, then shaved my hair how he felt like cutting it. Mind you, I didnt ask for anything complicated, just a fade on the sides and trim on the top. After seeing that I was visibly baffled and confused he tried to convince me it was the only thing he could do? Ive never seen a barber so incompetent that he felt the need to justify his poor quality of work by blaming the customer. To top it off, the most expensive cut Ive ever had. I also had to blend the sides with the top myself at home because apparently that was too difficult for him to do. Spare yourself the pain and money, dont go here unless you really do want the worst haircut experience you could imagine...

1 /5 Jude Mendez: I went to this barber after not being to a barber in 6 years as I had been growing my hair out. I used to visit this barber back in the day and I have had good experiences with the owner and some of the other barbers. I asked to get my beard lined up and to cut it to about a 3-4. The barber proceeds to tell me that he cannot shave it to a 3 or 4 or I wont have any hair. I found this comment wild as I have been cutting and trimming my beard for years and a 3-4 is the length that I rock daily. The barber proceeded to line up my neck line and sharpen my sides. When asked if I "liked" it, I noticed that there was still patches of hair left underneath my neck line. I went to pay and the barber proceeded to tell me that he only took cash. I didnt have cash on me, so he rolled his eyes and told me to direct transfer him through BSB as he didnt have an EFTPOS machine. After transferring him $25 for an absolute joke of a beard trim, he proceeded to tell me that I hadnt actually sent the money. After trying to prove it to him 3 times, he was finally happy. Will NOT be returning to this place ever again.

1 /5 Daniel Burgess: The worst hair cut I’ve ever gotten. I asked for a fade and was given a bowl cut. These guys have been cutting hair for a long time and have either lost interest in their work or just suck. On top of that I was charged 38 bucks!!!! If I could rate less than one star I would. Avoid this business.
