4 /5 Ann Jiwie: The Callicoma Walk was a pretty challenging hike, not just because of the walk itself but knowing where to go.
Using google maps I drove to the location that took me to the Lakes of Cherry brook at the beginning. Found pretty easy parking on the streets that weren’t limited. Loved the trail that surrounded the small lake, It was easy to walk around and has a park nearby for kids to enjoy.
Took me a bit to realise that it wasn’t the actual hike, I unfortunately didn’t stay 100% on track and just followed where the signs took me. After a bit of walking deeper into the forest area I reached an intersection that connected to more trails, upon trial and error I finally found myself on the right track again only to turn back due to the interference of fauna and how steep and tight the trail has gotten.
Was a bit anxious to go by myself, would highly recommend doing this with a group of people. Also bring lots of water, the trails I took did not had any baublers other than the one near the park.
Overall I would definitely come back again but have an actual map and some people to come along with!
