Didulani Perera Perfect picnic spot near Sydney to celebrate your special moments.. There is also a jogging track which you can enjoy walking while exploring iconic harbour & opera house views.
2 hours free parking available on weekends.
Gary L Great 180 degs views of the harbour, north and south Head, eastern suburb beaches and the city. Some great information boards showing a map of the harbour the different inlets and beaches etc. Nice place to sit and have a picnic, some shaded spots. Relatively recently refurbished. No amenities or parking, best to get to by foot from Chowder Bay
Adam F Great place view and take photos of the Sydney Opera House, CBD, Harbour Bridge and Harbour day or night.
I prefer night time. Bring your visiting friends here to view the beautiful city.
Watch the ferries go by, and take some beautiful photos.
There are a few park benches to sit on.
Plenty of street parking with parkin meters.
Gets very busy on the weekends.
YE K Amazing place to take your fur family for a picnic and a swim! It beens to have become cleaner than what i remember for few years back! My babies loved it!
Nancy Green Once found pylon museum was well worth the entry fee. Very informative regarding
bridge history & construction and lookout views were amazing.
In our opinion a cheaper but better experience than the bridge climb.
ruby ngo We got there in the afternoon, the view of the bay and sunset was amazing.
We took ferry from Circular Quay to Watsons Bay then walked via the South Head heritage trail to get to the Lighthouse. For those who love nudity swimming can go to Lady Bay Beach on the trail.
