1 /5 Georgiana Tegan: DO NOT GO THERE! She burnt my hair when straightening it and I did not find out until I had my haircut at another hairdresser a few months later. She is also not taking responsibility of it! I havent done anything to my hair since seeing her. I did not notice it all this time because she burnt it on the side and at the back. My hair has been badly damaged due to her and I have suffered significant hair loss since- chucks of hair have been falling or snapping off. I have to take supplements to try to strengthen my hair but I have been told that the damage is so severe that I cannot have anything done to my hair until it grows out- which will take at least ONE YEAR. For decades, Ive been to different hairdressers for hair straightening and NEVER ONCE have they burnt my hair except for her. To make things worse, when I complained to her, she swore at me and told me she recorded our conversations. She threatened to expose our conversations- which I did not see the point because I didnt tell her any deep or dark secrets! It is illegal to record anyone without their express consent! There was no notice of any recording anywhere. For those of you who do not know, her hairdressing "shop" is in a residential apartment garage. I did not know until a bit before the appointment and was very surprised how shady it was when I arrived. I am very sure its an illegal business, she washed my hair at her laundry in her apartment. Also you must pay by cash and payid, and there is no receipt. The garage also wasnt set up like a shop, its missing all the necessary fans and equipment to eliminate chemical fumes, not to mention inhaling fumes from other cars parking in the nearby apartment garages. To top all that, she charges at the same rate as other hairdressers, it was not cheap or reasonable! Also her patience is mistaken for inexperience. It took her more than 5.5 hours for a below shoulder- length hair straightening (usually it takes me less than 4 hours.) Now I know it is NOT because she was putting in more effort, but because she does not know how to do it properly. Dont go there. I would give zero star if I could! The attached photos says it all and how much my hair grew is in line with when I saw her for the hair straightening.
