Glades Bay Park - NSW

Patrick Ryan This is classic Sydney foreshore infrastructure. A high quality gem that is totally unexpected. There is a beautiful raised walk around the mangroves that kids and dogs alike will enjoy and it’s nicely maintained. In most other countries, walks like this are blocked off as private land, but this is a wonderful hidden space that anyone can enjoy. There is even a small labyrinth under a massive old Fig tree that someone with private land has had the good nature to share.

Tarban Creek Reserve - NSW

Liv Nix This is such a lovely spot. Main reason I discovered it is its off leash so I could go with my dog. Really pretty area with a lovely walk. There is a giant tree that has roots hanging from it so my kids always stop for a swing. There is a swing in the on- leash area too and since picnic tables

Prakash Radhakrishnan My kid loved this park. This is probably the most lively park I have seen in this area. A good number of kids were playing and equal number of dogs were running around in the football pitch. The facilities were good.

Hyde Park - NSW

Trail Hiking Australia Hyde Park is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Sydney! As Australia’s oldest park, it’s rich in history and offers 16 hectares of open space to explore. The Anzac Memorial and Archibald Fountain are standout attractions, along with plenty of other monuments and statues. There’s a great alfresco café with seating for up to 90 people, making it a perfect spot to relax. The park is easily accessible, with St James and Museum train stations right next door, plus buses and light rail nearby. Plenty of shaded areas and well-maintained public toilets make it a comfortable place to spend time. Highly recommend!

Forest Sky Pier - NSW

Diksha Kotnala Breathtaking views from up to the top. You can take your car till the lookout point. We did the smallest 35 min trail, I believe the Gumgali track that goes from the the left of the lizards picture near the treetop adventure. It was a short, quiet and nice walk to a beautiful lookout point.
